Call for papers

As the conference is interdisciplinary we invite papers from a wide variety of disciplines that in  various ways have a clear relevance for the conference theme as described above. Papers should be crafted for a 20 min presentation. Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be sent by email to

Possible topics for papers include but are not limited to

  • Receptive Ecumenism – impact on Ecclesiology
  • Receptive Ecumenism as transformative resource on present challenges (e.g. Climate Change, Populism, Migration, Polarization, Conflicts)
  • Local experiences of Receptive Ecumenism
  • Bilateral dialogues
  • Receptive Ecumenism and Interreligious dialogue
  • Spirituality

Deadline for submission

November 15, 2019. Abstracts should include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s),  Affiliation, Current Position, an email address, and at least 3 keywords that best describe the  subject of your submission. Preference will be given to papers that address the conference theme.  Decisions are reached within 8 weeks.
