Library catalogue
The library collection is registered in an online public access catalogue. Click on the British flag for a version in English. Log in with your library card number and a pin code to check your loans and renew your books.

Search in University College Stockholm’s library catalogue, where you can also register for a borrower account.

You have access to the databases ATLA Religion Database with ATLA Serials PLUS,Political Science Complete and Religion & Philosophy Collection in the library. Instructions for off-campus access is provided through your course pages in Canvas.

The library offers access to books online from EbscoHost. Instructions for off-campus access is provided through your course pages in Canvas.

For off-campus access to e-resources that are not available through Ebscohost (for example OSAIL and HeinOnline) please follow the instructions below:

1. Log on to our “off campus library page” using this link: https://connect.ths.se/remote/login?lang=en  (Länkar till en externa sida.)and with the user name and password that is available on your course web site on Canvas. 
2. Click on the globe with the title: “Off campus library page”.

Support for students with reading impairments
Students with reading impairments or problems with mobility or sight have the right to borrow customised course books such as talking books, e-textbooks, books in Braille or with large text. The library can help you order recordings, search and download talking books.

At Legimus, the digital catalogue of Swedish Agency for Accessible Media (MTM), you can see which talking books and Braille books are available to borrow. You can also download books direct from Legimus. The library will help you to obtain a user name and password and show you what to do.

Register and publish in DiVA - Academic Archive Online 
DiVA is University College Stockholm’s platform for digital publishing and registration of publications and research data produced by researchers, teachers and students.

Wireless network
A wireless network is available in the library.

You can check out and return your loans at the self-issue computer in the library or you can ask the staff for help.

Loan period
Course books 7 days, other literature 30 days.

You can renew your loans unless someone else is waiting for the book. You can renew your loans on the web. Please note that course books can´t be renewed.

Reservations, holds
You can reserve a book that is currently on loan on the web.

Late loans
If your course books are returned late you have to pay an overdue fine. Note: No overdue fines are charged during the pandemia.

Lost or damaged items
If a book is lost or damaged you have to replace it by buying a new copy for the library or by paying for a new one. You pay the actual cost + an administration fee.

Study areas

The library is open for students, but study areas are reduced. Try to make room for those that can't study at home. Remember to keep your distance!
