General requirements for university studies
Education Level
First cycle
The course provides a basic understanding of the Eastern churches, with a particular emphasis on mission and development. The course also gives a historical overview of the history and extent of the Eastern Churches, and a presentation of the churches today.
At the end of the course, the student is expected to:
• be able to account for a timeline and overall historical events in the Eastern churches
• be able to account for the different eastern churches
• be familiar with church and mission studies as a discipline.
